We have put together a list of our favorite Christmas activities that are not only kid-friendly but are easy to do and, even better, are low budget! Here are some great ways to get more festive with your children this weekend:
Visit Santa at Play Date. Talk about a childhood dream! Play Date invites everyone to come on December 21st and meet Santa! Free with Admission and milk and cookies will be provided. To RSVP just visit our Facebook page.
Holiday movies. Pop some popcorn and make some whipped cream-topped hot chocolate for some holiday-themed movies! This is a great way to get the family together to enjoy some holiday classics while also indulging in some delicious movie snacks.
DIY gift wrapping. Get a roll of some brown paper and some green and red paint and let your kids creative juices flow! This homemade gift-wrapping paper will be an adorable way for your kids to give gifts to their loved ones.
Drive around and view the Christmas lights. Pack your car with some of your kids’ favorite snacks and drive around to view all the beautiful Christmas lights that your neighbors have worked hard to put up! Your children will love getting to see all the different light displays and will look forward to this year after year.
Homemade holiday ornaments. A great way to get crafty and in the holiday spirit is to have your children create their own holiday ornaments! Whether creating beaded snowflakes or drawing and painting on construction paper, these ornaments will serve as wonderful memories that you can hang on your tree each year.
